André Leon Talley told The Cut that what he'd most like for Xmas is trees. "I love to have people give me trees as gifts. For my garden," he said. Specifically, he wants a Chinese fountain tree or a Japanese maple, so everybody on his Xmas list should get on that. In the same interview, Talley found out that The September Issue is out of contention for an Oscar and was terribly disappointed. He said it is unfair that Valentino: The Last Emperor got in and the Vogue movie didn't. But then again, he's in both movies anyway. [The Cut]
