Check it out, Opening Ceremony has Rodarte we can afford to get a piece of, sort of. Kate and Laura Mulleavy just put out a series of T-shirts and sweatshirts that are now available on Opening Ceremony's website.
Two were made in collaboration with photographers Autumn de Wilde and David Armstrong. The Zombie Arrow shirt features one of De Wilde's photos, and the white "David Does Ethan" sweatshirt depicts one of Armstrong's portraits. The Zombie Arrow T-shirt is $105 and the David does Ethan sweatshirt is $210.
In addition to the photo shirts, the Mulleavys put out a series of text-only T-shirts and sweatshirts. The gray T-shirts that say "Radarte" are $105. The Love/Hate T-shirts are $115 and say "J'aime Rodarte" on the front and "Je déteste Rodarte" on the back. The T's are 50 percent polyester, 38 percent cotton, and 12 percent rayon. The Love/Hate design is also available on a sweatshirt for $155. What do you think of the new shirts, do you love or hate Rodarte today?
Update: The shirts are no longer available on the Opening Ceremony website. OC now says, "Limited quantity available in stores only. Visit Opening Ceremony New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo to purchase." Bummer. We hate having to leave the house.
