Last time Clothingline held a Tory Burch sample sale, someone abandoned her baby at the checkout counter while she shopped for colorful flats. That's the sort of fervor Burch inspires in her fans, so nobody should be too surprised by the long line currently snaking down 36th Street. The sale opened at 10am and runs through Friday. At least one Twitterer found it understocked, though she concedes that the prices were good.
