WILLIAMSBURG—There's been a Duane Reade on Kent Avenue since September, but now the drugstore brand is coming to real, central Williamsburg—the part where some buildings are actually more than three years old. The announcement sign above recently appeared on new development on the corner of Bedford and North 3rd, which just happens to be directly across the street from local drugstore Kings Pharmacy. Earlier this fall we considered a rivalry between Kings and the chain and determined that Kings would be just fine, but now we're not so sure. [RackedWire]
