Coming up in February, Resurrection Vintage and 1stdibs.com are planing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Maison Martin Margiela with a massive retrospective called Martin Margiela: 1989 - 2008, the Marcia Berger Collection. It will be on display in Resurrection's New York and Los Angeles boutiques through March, and pieces will be available for sale on 1stdibs.com.
Resurrection will be curating the exhibition from their collection of over 1,000 pieces of Maison Martin Margiela, including the dress form top, which is one of our personal favorites. There is also a sweater made of vintage military socks, and 100 pairs of unworn Margiela shoes. There are even accessories, including shoes, belts, bags, and jewelry made from hair, soda tabs, belt buckles and resin.
