EAST VILLAGE—New York based label Twinkle by Wenlan recently popped-up shop at Cadillac's Castle in the East Village. We checked out the merchandise while the sales associates prepared the boutique for their party guests later on this evening. While they tried on dresses and fussed with their hair, we were more than happy to take a peek at the latest collection, which was a beautiful medley of chunky knits, print sweaters, intricate outerwear, and party dresses. Some of the items of note (pictured) are the fox sweater dress, an adorable pink party dress, and (of course), the unicorn sweater. The cozy looking chunky knit cardigans are also worth a feel; until now, we didn't know 100% wool could be so soft. The pop-up shop will be open tomorrow and Saturday from noon to eight o'clock at 333 E 9th Street. [RackedWire]

EAST VILLAGE—Caterina Gatta is a Rome-based designer who makes modern pieces out of vintage fabrics from the likes of Versace and Givenchy. If that sounds as delightfully past-meets-present to you as it does to us, then drop by newish designer outlet Change of Season tomorrow night between 7pm and 9pm to meet Caterina and check out her selection.
