"We are very close to the explosion," says Nathalie Rykiel, in front of a rack of black bras and mini panties. The Sonia Rykiel pour H&M lingerie collaboration debuts in about eight hours in a fashion show at the Grand Palais in Paris. It will be streamed live online, and our friends at H&M are drumming up interest by sending around videos of the preparations for the big show. The one we've got here shows Nathalie Rykiel talking about fitting the models and getting their hair and makeup together, so there's plenty of footage of very very tall girls walking around in their underwear.
A sneaky prize, however, is a couple glimpses of garments we haven't seen before hanging up in the background. In particular, we saw a rack of vintage-looking pink bodysuits that may merit further investigation. Like the garments from the recent Jimmy Choo for H&M collection, we're starting to suspect that these will be much more attractive in person than we've been led to believe from photos.
