Remember all that talk about whether an adult woman could (or should) squeeze into Stella McCartney's Gap Kids collection? Last week, Carla Bruni wore the bandleader jacket while "performing a duet with Harry Connick Jr. on France's Canal Plus channel." There you have it, folks: The collection is totally appropriate for adults, as long as said adults are former models and current First Ladies of France who happen to be singing duets with Harry Connick Jr. on French television.
