Diesel is returning to Macy's this spring with a new shop-in-shop format after a four-year absence. It isn't designing a capsule collection, though. The Macy's products will be selected from Diesel's existing line and will be in 50 stores. In January, the line will also unveil a new shop-in-shop prototype designed to go into existing retailers worldwide.
Diesel chairman Renzo Rosso says the new shop-in-shop design is "Warm, understated and rock." Call us crazy, but we don't really associate "rock" with "warm and understated." At least, not any kind of rock we'd want to listen to.
