Femia, 11/24/09
Yesterday, roving Racked photographer Will Femia swung by Union Square for a look at the seasonal holiday shops. The booths hadn't opened yet, but we're suckers for behind-the-scenes shots of holiday magic getting made. Above, watch the usual glowing warren of fairy lights, sherpa-lined hats and homemade soaps develop out of a few cardboard boxes. By now, everything should be up and running, and by Friday the 14-year-old market will be in full swing.
