Curbed points us to this rather horrifying shot of collapsed scaffolding in front of the Gap at 8th Street and Broadway yesterday, where two taxis collided. The six passengers in the cabs escaped with only minor injuries. Despite the damaged sign, so did the store itself—although the front entrance is closed, shoppers can enter around the side. In any case, this isn't a Gap that carries children's clothes, so nobody will be forced to suffer impeded access to the tiny but popular Stella McCartney band leader jacket.
