Just slightly east of all those glitzy Madison Ave. flagships and just slightly south of that crazy Hold Everything-H&M-New York & Company-Geox-Urban Outfitters mall anchored by Bloomingdale's—we spotted this barren corner at E. 56th St. and Lexington Ave. Look closely, of six storefronts four are vacant (frankly, a store called Victorian Chick kind of deserved to close), one is about to close, and a sixth houses a psychic (which could very well be closed as well). Despite the stock market things aren't much better; especially for service-y shops such as these. Happy Holidays! [RackedWire]
