Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We've taken you on an exhaustive tour of the womenswear selection at the Steven Alan sale—now, let's turn to the menswear. Major theme: Jackets. Our correspondent found lots of military-inspired pea and toggle coats for less than $200; ditto heavy tweed blazers. Sports jackets in spring-weight tan, gray, and seersucker are only $79, and downstairs, you can find tons of leather outerwear from John Malkovich and Mirage. The Hyden Yoo racks are also filled with coats, from a flannel-lined wool tux jacket with leather piping for $100 to a flannel-lined military windbreaker with a hood for $80.

To go under said jackets, try the racks upon racks of Steven Alan shirting—that's why you're there—in flannels, pin dots, or oxford clothes ($68). Or go with the T Country patchwork button-downs, some with star-shaped mother-of-pearl buttons, for $35. You'll need pants, of course, so try Gilded Age denim ($60 to $120), Rogan denim ($110 to $120), or Loomstate white jeans ($62). Assorted Steven Alan khakis and trousers, many military-inspired, are $79; and house accessories are $15. You should also pause at the three huge racks of Relwin, where you'll find tons of knits, coats, and denim. And to finish things off: a wall of assorted Generic Surplus shoes are $25, while classic Common Projects leather numbers are $96, from $320. Carry it home in a cute, signature canvas Steven Alan tote for $50.

Unshockingly, the calm that pervaded at 4pm has pretty much disappeared, so if you're going tonight, get there fast. Remember, though, that the sale officially opens at 8:30 tomorrow morning (we'll be lineblogging, don't you worry) and lasts through this Sunday, November 22.
