When a tipster informed us of Shane and Shawn's Mulberry Street flagship closing, we were disappointed to hear the news. Further investigation proved that our tipster was indeed correct: The shoe-designing twins are no longer calling NoLita their home. According to a sign on the door, the duo is planning a mobile flagship store on a tour bus, and will be making stops at The Sundance Film Festival, Super Bowl Weekend in Miami, and the TriBeca Film Festival next year. Undoubtedly, the tour bus will be promoting the pair's special line for V-DAY, a charity that raises funds and awareness for violence against women. 25% of each pair of the V-DAY shoes goes to charity, and the shoes were sold exclusively at the New York flagship and online. If you can't wait for the tour bus to get your Shane & Shawn fix, they're also sold at the Macy's on Herald Square and the DSW in Union Square.—Phillip Picardi
