We're kind of loving Sample Sally's new sale videos. The latest, a sweep through the preview of the Roberto Cavalli sample sale at Metropolitan Pavilion, even comes with a jazzy soundtrack. Sally found the place strangely subdued, possibly because it was just a preview. She reports a much better selection for women than for men, although prices are high for both. Other than the $100 scarves, everything seems to start at $230, with prices for dresses ranging into the thousands of dollars. If you happened to drop by today, let us know whether the calm pervaded, or whether the scene devolved into the sort of intensity that can sometimes surround Cavalli.
