Jean-Paul Gaultier teamed up with Melissa Shoes for a designer collaboration way back in 1982, and he's doing it again for Spring 2010 with a pair of strappy plastic sandals with a pin-thin heel that looks like a #2 pencil. While Gaultier was the first designer to collaborate with the Brazilian plastic-shoe company, Melissa has since added some high-power team-ups with Thierry Mugler, Patrick Cox, Karim Rashid, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Zaha Hadid, and Vivienne Westwood. Melissa's footwear is pretty hardcore from a design perspective. Would you be averse to designer plastic shoes?
