News of the usually-secret Manolo Blahnik sample sale hit the airwaves last week, and now shoe fiends are worried that the exclusive shopping experience will be spoiled. Writes Fashion Prospectress:

Inventory is completely insufficient for a massive stampede—there are probably only 80-100 pairs of shoes per size. In the past the sale has been really special. You are guaranteed to walk away with at least one pair (or two, or three) of great shoes, and the prices are unbeatable.

She suspects the organizers will switch either the date (this Thursday) or location (the Warwick Hotel.) If they do, we'll let you know—we're sending our toughest Racked correspondent over to document the insanity.
