Do we need to worry about Vera Wang? Because it looks like she's having some kind of tween-girl, Claire's Boutique moment with her new perfume, Vera Wang Glam Princess. Glam Princess, which sounds like something we named a My Little Pony when we were six, is the newest scent in the Vera Wang Princess line, which targets younger customers and comprises 50 percent of Vera Wang fragrance sales. It comes in a heart-shaped gold, shimmery bottle with pink stars and a gold, crown-shaped cap with multicolored gems on it.
According to WWD it smells of "crushed red berries, juicy guava and sparkling pear; a heart of orange blossom and vanilla orchid, and a drydown of warm ambrette, sugary marshmallow and soft cashmere wood," for all those days when you want to feel like a princess and smell like a marshmallow. But it could smell like frankincense and myrrh, and we'd still feel silly taking that bottle to the register. How much do you care about the look of a bottle when making perfume-buying decisions?
