Barney's is so in love with Albert Maysles that it's making a spectacle--his spectacles, to be specific. In collaboration with California-based eyewear company Barton Perreira, Barneys has reproduced Maysles' iconic glasses. The filmmaker, who is best known for Grey Gardens and Gimme Shelter, has worn a similar pair since 1960. The Madison Avenue Barney's will host an event for Maysles on Nov. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m., and the glasses will be available, starting at $350. [The Moment]
