Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
LONG ISLAND CITY—Lucky reminds us that Calypso and Jonathan Adler have teamed up for a giant sale ending tomorrow. Between 10am and 4pm, find bargains like $2 napkins, $15 throw pillows, and tons of soft tops and sweaters for under $50. The sale takes place at 38-16 Skillman Avenue, but if you absolutely can't bring yourself to trek out to Queens, you can find many of the same Calypso deals online. [Lucky]
NOLITA—Just in time for CMJ, the Openhouse Gallery at 201 Mulberry Street is hosting Rock-N-Shop, a pop-up boutique with live performances. Browse clothes and shoes from Elizabeth & James, Gryphon, Katheryn Amberleigh, Mike & Chris, and others while listening to performances by bands Audio Fiction, A Fragile Tomorrow, Nikki Kelly, Paperdoll, and Lead Pipe Cinch (which sounds like a particularly uncomfortable style of belt.) The music starts at noon tomorrow; events run from 12pm to 7pm both days this weekend. [Racked Inbox]
FORT GREENE—Martha Stewart does not settle for less than perfection, so don't expect her to show up to the Brooklyn Flea in tomorrow's pouring rain. Instead, she'll be dropping by on Sunday—or so we hear. [RackedWire]
