FLATIRON—Time Out New York took a tour of our perennial obsession the Limelight Marketplace, which was once a church and then a nightclub (two, actually) and will soon become a mall 80-shops strong. Crucial detail: Among those 80 stores, we'll find Hunter Boots, Caswell Massey and a J. Sisters salon. Click through to find a slideshow of the renovation currently in progress, along with renderings of the place's future as a gleaming temple of commerce. [TONY]
GREENPOINT—In a summit so campy it's going to make Glee look like Friday Night Lights, Jonathan Adler and Fred Flare are teaming up for a weekend charity brunch. For $75, you can join them both for food, prizes and celebrity guests at Greenpoint's EAT Cafe at 10am on October 24th. Proceeds go to God's Love We Deliver, which brings food to AIDS patients and others living with serious illnesses. For serious lovers of quirk, there's really nowhere else to be on a Saturday morning, but reserve your ticket fast—there are only 40 seats available. [Fred Flare]
