Back in May, we heard a rumor that French designer Isabel Marant wanted to open a store in Soho. For Marant fans in New York, this was huge news, since she's taken a firm stance against selling her clothes online and only a few NYC stores carry her collection. Now, new details on the boutique have emerged courtesy Style.com, which spoke to Marant backstage before her Paris Fashion Week show today. The shop will be "near the corner of Broome and Greene," according to Style, and it should open in early 2010. We still hope Marant resolves her feud with the Internet, but if this is a side effect, we'll take it.
