Moschino, whose Cheap and Chic line always teased us by being really cute but not at all cheap, is reaching out to younger shoppers with a new line of less-expensive handbags under the Love Moschino line. (Love Moschino is the new name Moschino Jeans has been operating under since 2008.) The new accessories line will be priced between $168 and $445 for totes, shoulder bags, wallets and clutches and is designed to appeal to younger, more cash-strapped customers who are Moschino fans. That describes us to a T, but while we may have a soft spot for Moschino, we're really not feeling the love for these handbags. $168-445 doesn't really sound like much of a deal when we're talking about spending it on a purple bag with little hearts all over it, croc-stamped leather, or a faux-Chanel canvas flap bag with printed quilting.
