The case of the missing Pierre Hardy for Gap fall boots gets curiouser and curiouser as another shoe date passes with no boots to be seen. Although Gap's PR emailed all the blogs in town asking them to post about the shoes being available today, when we dropped by the Gap flagship at 54th St. and Fifth Ave. this morning, we found that the boots are delayed and still not yet available in stores. The associate we spoke with said the shoes had been expected today, but had not materialized. She said an overnight shipment was expected on Wednesday, so we should try back on Thursday morning. A phone call to the store at 60 W. 34th St., the other location expecting to get the shoes today, confirmed that they also had no boots yet, but the representative said they might come in on a shipment tonight, so maybe there's a shot at getting them in the morning.
