In an attempt to reach more customers, Badgley Mischka is starting a new line of more affordable wedding gowns. The signature Badagley Mischka wedding dress line runs around $9,000, compared with the new Mark and James line, which runs more like $2,000-4,000. Mark and James' first collection has 12 dresses, and the designers think it has post-recession staying power. "Things won’t go back to like they were before," said Mischka. "Everything won’t be so over-the-top and go-go." The duo also is considering branching out into menswear. [WWD]
