Osaka-based Master-Piece is known for focusing on hard-wearing, durable bags with attention to detail and functionality. Opening Ceremony stocks their bags normally, and just came out with an exclusive line developed in collaboration with the brand. The collaboration resulted in a four-piece line that paris Master-Piece's classic drawstring backpack and camera bag shapes in bright, color-blocked suede in either royal blue or canary yellow and gray.
The four-piece collection runs $175 for a camera bag or $295 for a backpack, which is admittedly stiff compared with a standard book bag. But Master-Piece has a reputation for putting out bags that will outlast their owners, though there's no telling how that will work out when executed in suede, which isn't exactly known for its durability.
