It's been a while since we checked in on the Limelight Marketplace, the new shopping mall slated to open in a deconsecrated church/former nightclub in the Flatiron District. When we stopped by around noon, we found workmen eating lunch on the church steps who confirmed that they were converting the space inside. But while the project is definitely underway, it sounds like the December launch date might be a little premature—they said they really weren't sure when all the construction would be done.
