Good news for anyone who's ever looked at Times Square and said "I like it, but maybe it needs more flash": Forever 21 is on its way. Not only has it devoured the Virgin Megastore space, but it's also consumed the adjoining real estate, merging it all together to create a block-long, 90,000-square-foot colossus of trendy discount retail. (Put another way: There are three other Forever 21's in Manhattan, and this one will be bigger then them all put together.) The monolith is slated to open sometime in 2010. For the moment, it's just an empty cave, but they recently wrapped it in a giant ad, so work must be is underway.
