One of Marc Jacobs' boutiques on Bleecker Street
You knew it was coming: Designer Marc Jacobs is planning another store for Bleecker Street. Robert Duffy, pres. of MJ International, disclosed to WWD that the company has signed a lease for "a large space on Bleecker." The exact location has yet to be revealed—all we know is that it is not sitting vacant right now and whatever tenant is there will be departing by the end of 2009. And, it won't be a clone of one of the designer's other boutiques. Duffy: 'It’s a new concept for us. It’s something we’ve never done before.'
