This Saturday, the founders of Fort Greene-based unstoppable force the Brooklyn Flea are branching out with a new pop-up shop. The temporary store will be located in a 4,500-square-foot space at 76 Front Street and will offer vintage merchandise and antique furniture (or, as organizer Eric Demby puts it, "We'll have modern stuff, really old stuff, cheap stuff and nice stuff"). The pop up will be open Saturdays and Sundays for the next twelve weekends; the Flea blog has a complete list of vendors. Why Dumbo? According to a piece in the Brooklyn Paper, Lord Walentas handed them a really sweet deal.
