To follow up on our post on the closure of Sullivan Street fixture Kwong L Wong Laundry: We have word that the space will soon house a new boutique. The email from the shop's owner, Nicole Jerner:

I just saw your posting for KL Wong's laundry closing. I am the new tenant and am happy to report that the Mr. and Mrs. Wong are retiring. I am opening an upscale women's clothing boutique named Coletta in late February. It's all about the true California style (casual smart SF mixed with LA bohemian chic).
I am a native northern California girl and am bringing the ease of California living to NYC women. I'm selling many designers from northern and southern Cal in addition to local NYC designers and those around the globe. Most are launching their first collections in my store. Designers include Rime Arodaky, Chris Han, Yunhi Lee, Obakki and many more. The product mix includes casual staples such as tees and denim in addition to beautiful dresses and tailored jackets.
Sullivan Street residents: You will have to walk a bit further to get your clothing cleaned, but at least the space won't sit empty.
