Opening day at the Winter Antiques Pop-Up Market in Dumbo
Brooklyn Flea pop-up the Winter Antiques Market hasn't even been open a month in it's Dumbo home, and already it is expanding. Flea co-founder Eric Demby tells Racked that they've annexed the storefront across the street from their location at 76 Front Street, and plan to fill it with vendors that don't fit the antiques mold. That space will open the weekend of January 31st, and will offer new (non-antique) clothing and accessories and—this is very exciting—food vendors like Kumquat Cupcakery, McClure's Pickles, Hot Blondies Bakery, Choice Market and Fine + Raw Chocolate. There's even talk of a BBQ truck.
As for the Antiques Market, they've just added a new vendor: vintage eyewear purveyor Selima Optique. She'll be joining the party this weekend.
