Trader Joensing: A Spontaneous MLK Day Line Forms on 14th Street

Some people used their time off yesterday to participate in a national day of service; others chose to stand in line in the snow, waiting for access to Two Buck Chuck. The tipster who sent in the photo above writes "3 PM today, there was a line outside Trader Joe's on 14th street, complete with door person—apparently they'd exceeded their fire-code capacity. So they were letting in people ten at a time. Ridiculous? I'd have left if I really, really didn't need chai latte mix." Wasn't the opening of the Brooklyn store supposed to put an end to moments like this? [Racked Inbox]
