While compiling today's Email Scan, we were pleased to notice that NYMag's Best Bets column was featuring Muji's adorable DIY cardboard speakers. Then we read the text accompanying the picture. It seems Urban Outfitters has borrowed the idea, knocked $24 off the price, tossed in some colored pencils, and called it a day. We're used to seeing Urban Outfitters rip off designers, but we never thought we'd see them come for our Muji.
