Billboards: Crotchvertising Goes Large-Scale

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

With last week's report on "crotchvertising," or advertising a product centered around a fly, still fresh in our minds, we weren't exactly surprised to see this new effort from 501 Jeans.

Even though it is significantly tame without a model in the jeans, this 3-D peekaboo still succeeds in grabbing the attention of passersby around the Soho Grand Hotel. Even Diddy wants a piece of the action; the proximity of his Ciroc ad can't just be coincidence.
