The Daily News has a piece about the process by which looks move from the runway to the stores. It's all pretty obvious, if you follow fashion at all, but what's amazing is the response they got when they asked various cheap-chic brands to comment. "Several chains, including Forever 21, H&M, Target and Zara declined requests for interviews, although H&M released a statement saying, 'Now more than ever, themes in fashion spread quickly around the world.'"
