One reader took issue with the idea that Forever 21 in SoHo wouldn't need to prepare for Fashion Week. "As 'hysterical' as the statement sounds, a lot of stylists and designers do shop at Forever 21 so why not 'be prepared' for them, whatever that means? I have a lot of friends who are successful designers, stylists, photographers, makeup artists, PR reps, etc in fashion and the majority of them shop at Forever 21. Earlier in the summer I went out with a friend who mixed her $2,000 Christian Dior skirt with a $20 Forever 21 top and she looked amazing. It’s not hard in a $2K skirt but the top went really well with the look. If the manager had said 'keep an eye out for Miuccia Prada and André Leon Talley shopping with Mary Kate Olsen?' THAT would’ve been hysterical." [Racked Comments]
