LOWER EAST SIDE—The fashion blog NOGOODFORME is completely insane in the most lovable way. On September 9, they'll host a party on the L.E.S. featuring the Chicago band Speck Mountain and an "Indie Fashion Lounge" with designers like Feral Childe, Melanie Auld, and Mociun. The party is at Piano's (158 Ludlow Street); the theme is spirit animals. You know, spirit animals? Those animals that represent your soul? Today the blog published a 1700-word post about said animals that referenced Keanu Reeves's stellar performance as a hippie orthodontist in the movie Thumbsucker, the fiction of fantasy young adult novelist Phillip Pullman, and Pulp frontman and perennial hipster hearthrob Jarvis Cocker. Then they explained their personal spirit animals, one of which is David Lee Roth. Obviously. [NOGOODFORME]

NEW YORK CITY—Style.com plants to celebrate Fashion Week by road-tripping around NYC in an Airstream. Wherever they stop, passersby will be treated to fashion week shows on the big screen, plus a preview of their new fashion app for the iPhone and iPod touch. Catch them at the following dates, times and places: Sept 8: 11am-3:30pm at the Apple Store 5th Ave. Sept 9: 11:00am-3:30pm at the Time Warner Center; 4:30pm-9pm at the Apple Store Soho. Sept 10: the Conde Nast Building. Sept 11: 4:30pm-10pm at the Meatpacking Apple Store. Sept 12: 11am-3:30pm at Balthazar in Soho. And Sept 12: 4:30-8pm at the corner of Bowery and Houston.
