BRYANT PARK—The tents are up! [Shiny Style]
LOWER EAST SIDE—The fashion blog NOGOODFORME is completely insane in the most lovable way. On September 9, they'll host a party on the L.E.S. featuring the Chicago band Speck Mountain and an "Indie Fashion Lounge" with designers like Feral Childe, Melanie Auld, and Mociun. The party is at Piano's (158 Ludlow Street); the theme is spirit animals. You know, spirit animals? Those animals that represent your soul? Today the blog published a 1700-word post about said animals that referenced Keanu Reeves's stellar performance as a hippie orthodontist in the movie Thumbsucker, the fiction of fantasy young adult novelist Phillip Pullman, and Pulp frontman and perennial hipster hearthrob Jarvis Cocker. Then they explained their personal spirit animals, one of which is David Lee Roth. Obviously. [NOGOODFORME]
