What is it with men and their jeans? A Continuous Lean has a detailed guide to washing a pair from A.P.C. that he's been "working on" for a year. "The process of washing your jeans is simple. Opt for a soak over using a conventional washing machine. Fill the sink or bathtub with warm water, add in a small amount of Woolite Black, and soak for one hour." Tossing them in the machine would, we assume, ruin that carefully worn-in look. [ACL]
