Gossip Girl Comes to Bendel's Windows, Your TV

New, 1 comment

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

A passel of Upper East Side schoolgirls, all too sophisticated for their own good, currently look out onto Fifth Avenue from the window of Henri Bendel. By our count, it looks like the display features two Blairs, one Serena, one Little Jenny Humphrey, and one dark-haired other girl. (Could that be Vanessa? What is she doing at Bendel's?) Not coincidentally, the second season of Gossip Girl premiered about twelve hours ago, and some go-getting bloggers have already reviewed the clothes. Bunnyshop counts Blair's headbands, while ShopDiary spots the same teeny Marc by Marc Jacobs tennis dress worn by our Street Scenes subject Clare last Monday.
