Start counting down the days: The Colette boutique popping up next to the Gap on 54th Street and Fifth Avenue opens this Saturday, September 6. The tiny space, which will house a collaboration between the French boutique and the American mega-brand, is decorated in the same hard-hat motif as the website, but although the theme may be "under construction," the site itself looks complete. The same can't be said for the Gap flagship next door, which has remained open despite an ongoing renovation. Luckily, fall's grunge revival goes nicely with the sawdust and piles of wood scattered around the store.
