Now Open: Court Appears on Mulberry

Practically out of nowhere, boutique Court has just opened on the mozzarella and sauce-covered end of Mulberry Street where Nolita officially becomes Little Italy. The store, run by the owners of East Village shop Circa Now, is filled with an rotating assortment of men's and women's clothing and accessories (for fall, labels include Kova&T, Sophmore, Grey Ant and Society for Rational Dress) as well as a few vintage pieces. Along with new neighbor Staerk and nearby sample sale venue Openhouse Gallery, lower Mulberry's becoming a retail stretch in its own right, though the upcoming San Gennaro festival will likely put a temporary damper on any Little Italy shopping trips.
