A Racked reader has a detailed early report from the B&B Italia sample sale that began this morning at 10am on West 18th Street: "Arrived early-ish around 9am—about 8 people in line in front of me. That quickly grew to about 50+ people before opening at 10am. There was a lot of furniture available—from their ever popular Charles Sofa Sectional to other key items in B&B Italia and a few (although not many) pieces in the Max Alto collection. Upholstered pieces went fairly quickly—I snagged two nightstands (of which there were not many choices but they fit what I needed for a new apartment). Prices were pretty good—up to 40% off in many cases. Delivery can be arranged but not for today. You can take things away yourself but they will not wrap the items so do that at your own risk. All in all, a good sale. They say they will replenish stock this weekend." [Racked Inbox]
