It's been one month since the Sanrio store just off Times Square closed to give Hello Kitty a facelift. According to the signage, come fall we can expect "a whole new concept of cute." What actually stands to be revealed is more space for enough Keroppi backpacks, Badtz-Maru hair barrettes and Hello Kitty-Tokidoki collab items to make you sick with cuteness. Don't forget changing rooms!
Keep in mind that Hello Kitty's neighbors are Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum and the McDonald's with the Vegas-y marquee, and you'll remember why to avoid Times Square in the first place.
