West Broadway, long the quieter, more sedate sibling to Broadway, is seeing a lot of retail turnover these days. Many a storefront is papered up; a few are showing signs of their new tenants. Of those, Munich-based sportswear company Bogner and denim label 7 For All Mankind are looking the closest to being completed.
Bogner, at 380 West Broadway, has set their opening date for August 22nd. But from the photos a Racked spy shot yesterday evening, the interior of the store looks close to being complete and clothing already hangs from the racks. 7 For All Mankind, at 394 West Broadway, will hit much sooner—they're planning to throw the doors open to their 3,000-square-foot flagship this Friday, August 8th. And it appears as if they are rushing to meet that deadline, as piles of denim were strewn haphazardly around the space yesterday while a group of workers carefully unpacked boxes of merchandise. What's the rush, folks—is there an Olympic tie-in here that we're unaware of?
