Hello Health, Dr. Jay Parkinson's tech-friendly new doctor's office, hasn't even been open a week and the net-minded are already blogging about it. Struck by a strange eye condition, famous-on-the-web character Julia Allison dropped by over the weekend. Her rave: "When I got to his cool new office, just off of the Bedford st stop, Jay said it didn’t really look that bad, and gave me some sort of Cipro drops, which have already started to make a difference. Total cost? $0, if you’re a member of their practice (which is very reasonable). Well ? $4 for the subway and $10 for a soy burrito down the block. The ability to email and text your doctor, then walk right in and have him see you? Unbelievable. This is really what health care should be like." [NonSociety]
