Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Our tireless iPhone watch continues! Today's biggest news: The Meatpacking Apple store is completely out of iPhones. Will they get more in tomorrow? No one seems to know. As usual, Midtown is the best bet.

Apple Midtown
Line length: No line, the voucher system being the greatest invention since...the invention of the iPhone?
Availability: Everything is in stock.
Color: As of 9:30 AM, they've got vouchers for noon onward.

Apple Soho
Line length: "Around towards the post office"—that is, one to two hours
Availability: Everything is in stock as long as you get a voucher.
Color: Helpfully, they won't say how many vouchers are left.
