BED-STUY—Blogger Bed-Stuy Banana discovers a ladies-only tattoo parlor in her neighborhood. According to their page on Inked Nation ("The World's Largest Tattoo Community"), the inkers of the Tuff Gurl Tattoo Studio are "a diverse group of women, most who have Bachelors in Fine Arts and years of tattoo studio experience." This is like the anti-Freemans. [Bed-Stuy Banana]
SOHO—Commes des Garçons and Sanrio are coming to Opening Ceremony for their "Japan vs. USA" exhibition. An in-store market will sell perfume by the former, alongside wallets and their "Play" collection; as for the latter, look out for an "Opening Ceremony Loves Sanrio" collaboration. Also, says the Pipeline, "vending machines in both the New York and Los Angeles stores will dispense 'kawaii' goods." We will pretty much buy anything an Opening Ceremony vending machine has to offer. [The Pipeline]
