Discontinued: Stüssy Says So Long to Soho

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

In a move that will have streetwear fiends roving naked and confused around Soho (that is, until they reach Union), Stüssy has closed up shop after 10 years at 121 Wooster Street. Although there are plans to reopen elsewhere, losing their large premium Wooster location will mean a blow to the brand's reputation in these parts. Perhaps churning out $40 limited-edition t-shirts next to Chanel wasn't faring so well, or maybe they just don't want to be around the corner from the Crocs store.

In any case, now you know what to do when you see a lost kid desperately clutching a worn copy of Complex Magazine: point him towards KidRobot.
