Though we're not going to go so far as to say that the Paul Stuart sample sale taking place through tomorrow evening on West 38th Street is better than Barneys Warehouse Sale, if you're in the market for a blazer this is the place to shop. Sizes range from 40 to 50, with a huge variety in styles. Wackier patterns and colors are $199; the kind of jackets you could actually get away with at a meeting go for $299. By far the best deal in the house is for ties, down to $25 from $139. The styles range from the strange—purple and gold?—to classic striped navy versions.

The women's selection is not nearly as generous as the men's (the sale is about 70% menswear), but there is a decent range of sizes in the styles they have. Blouses, jackets, pants and skirts are priced from $79 to $149. Considering tomorrow is the last day and the place was dead at 1PM this afternoon, the selection of merchandise will probably remain this good up until the very end.
